In Quito's Market

'Will be mid July before the show is juried. The painted surface category is perhaps the most competitive there is.. so we'll see. Fingers crossed.
The quilt is quilted, blocked flat, and ready for the finishing edge... a Facing. Step ONE .... measure and mark the to-be-finished edge......

thank you for sharing.
I didn't know that about the painted fabric catagory
in the show
Thanks Lori.... this is a very cool but competitive category. This is really an international category... In 2008, my first year to enter, 1st and 2nd place went to Australia. I was thrilled to get 3rd. In 2009, I rec'd 3rd for another piece with the french couple team taking 2nd.
