Painted!!!!

The painted part is pretty much complete. You may notice I left the bottom edge in a rough ink pattern as I think I may 'wash' that area with a cool blue similar to the Jay's feathers.

This blue on the bottom edge may be additive when quilted.

Beautiful.... To get the little light circles, did you dab off the paint in those areas?

Update: the light circles are pre planned, painted with a light hand(i.e. little pressure) using more of a dry brush painting method ( i.e. little ink on the brush tip fantastix) . Working with ink on fabric, there is no chance to dab color off.... it is there and staying. The things one learns by experimenting... :-)

Thanks Patt. Okay, you outted me -- I've never been brave enough to paint on fabric yet, but I have all the supplies! Just waiting to get up enough courage to play.
