On The Road...Finally

Time to lay down some highway asphalt.

I used a black / silver twist for this. I like twists but have long noted that it is easy for a twist to appear as an irregular stitch, so I'm careful how/ where I use it. Judges/ viewers can misread this thread in a competitive quilt. Lesson learned. This quilt line was mostly free motion straight line with an occasional "U turn" to stay within a manageable quilting area. It all seems to work in the end.
